The plain-English version
ChatMate is random video chat with girls that runs entirely in your browser — free to start, no sign-up, no profile. This policy covers three situations: reading a public page like this one, being in a live video chat, and optionally buying coins. The short story: browsing collects nothing personal, chatting is live and unrecorded, and paying is handled by outside processors.
Camera and microphone access
A video chat needs your camera and mic, but the permission prompt comes from your browser, not from us. Granting it is your decision, and you can take it back anytime in your browser settings. Nothing is installed on your device. Every chat is a private line between two people — no audience, no spectator mode, and no recording on our side, whether you met through matching or browsed ChatMate TV first.
What we actually store
Keeping a live video site up takes a baseline of technical data: rough device and browser details, server logs with IP addresses and visit times, and aggregate patterns of how pages are used. Because there is no account system on the front door, there is no email, name or password of yours sitting in our database. If you buy coins, an external payment processor handles the transaction — full card numbers never reach us.
Cookies and similar tech
Cookies keep your session together, remember small preferences, and tell us which pages get traffic. A few are strictly required for the site to function; the rest are anonymous measurement. Any browser can block or delete them — just expect parts of the experience to break if you refuse the essential ones.
What we never do
We do not record or store your video chats. We do not sell personal information to anyone. We do not build advertising profiles from your conversations. Live means live — once a chat ends, it is gone, and that is by design, not by accident.
